Sunday Brunch With A Great Twist

You remember Doug Starks. Maybe not. He’s a comedian and accomplished singer who is running a brunch, benefiting New Vista (newvistanv.org). New Vista is a non profit organization that helps developmentally challenged people transition into independent living. Every Sunday you will find Doug, and many of Vegas’ singers and musicians, dedicating their time and talent at The Brentwood Café on Warm Springs between 11 and 2. Today was a top notch band featuring John Plows on drums, Bob Sachs on bass, Steve Golden on sax and Joe Darro on keys. Some of today’s (Sunday Jan 29th) performers were Peter Pavone, Domenick Allen, Michael Delano, Dennis Bono, LJ Harness and many others including Doug Starks. Forgive me for not mentioning every performer and any misspelling that auto correct has not found.

Great fun, great talent, great food. Plan on brunch next Sunday. It will be well worth the modest price.
