Late Night? Who Cares

OH MY GOD, was one comment about last nights Composer’s Showcase, held at the Liberace Museum about once a month. You know how some shows seem to be just a little bit better than others; well if you attend the showcase on a regular basis you’d understand. Don’t get me wrong, it’s always packed with talent and surprises, but last night was one of the BEST. I can’t begin to list who played, who sang, who composed and who arranged, but some of the players were from Phantom, Jersey Boys, The Lion King, La Reve, and the list goes on. I feel privileged every time I’m there. It’s like having the best performers from the strip indulge me with an intimate and up-close performance.

Keith Thompson, who organizes and basically produces the showcase; he’s also the musical director for Jersey Boys, among other talents, hit it on the head when he said It’s a celebration of creative spirits”. With that being said, it is also the 5th Anniversary of the Composer’s Showcase. Don’t miss the May 27th show.
