Stormy Days and Stormy Nights

There was a Storm brewin on Saturday night at a place between “Downtown” and “The Strip”. It was Blues Storm, a bluesy rock group performing in the Art District at a cool place called “Downtown Vintage Guitar Store” at 3rd and Charleston. It reminded me of the old coffee houses in the Village. Besides guitars and strings, there was a bar, bandstand and extremely good sound system. Also a very good band, with “Rockin” Rick Nashe on guitar, Dutch on bass, Craig Small on drums, and lead singer (harmonica player, of course) Sweet Pete swingin the joint. If you get a chance to hear them, take it.
