Back from Paris

Well, we’re back from a long weekend inParis. I can’t begin to tell you everything we did, but I will try to hit some of the highlights. Of course The Louvre, Notre Dame, Saint Germain and theLatin Quarter. There was lunch at a Glott Kosher Deli in The Marais as well as lunch at The Grand Café. Harry’s Bar for cocktails, dining at French bistros, Le Duc Des Lombards for some amazing jazz, and back to Harry’s downstairs at the piano bar. Stumbled across a wonderful little French restaurant called Cremerie Restaurant Polidor. After a little wine and conversation with the adjoining table, we found out this restaurant was used in the picture Midnight inParis. A terrific Woody Allen movie. We were then directed to the oldest jazz club inParis, Caveau des Oubliettes. A downstairs cave with great blues on the night we were there. Packed house, friendly Parisians and excellent wine. Late nights, late mornings and fun shopping with great weather, but it’s always nice to get back home “Viva Las Vegas”. And by the way, the entertainment here is just as good and probably better.
